Hey Joe, Who Creates Your Real Estate Newsletters?

One question that I get several times a month is who “does” my real estate newsletters and is this a service that can be purchased for other real estate markets.

The questions mostly come from real estate agents from outside of the Tallahassee housing market, and I’m flattered that they like how they are done.

Currently, we have nearly 5,000 people who have chosen to subscribe to the Tallahassee Real Estate Newsletter, and we’re hoping to double the list over the next twelve months. But as far as the questions go, this is how each edition of our real estate newsletters is done:

Don’t Let A Frankenstein House Scare You From This Buyer’s Market

Surely you have seen or heard about the movie of the man-made monster, but have you also heard about the Frankenstein House?

In the movie, eccentric scientist Victor Frankenstein creates a grotesque creature by assembling and then reanimating body parts from multiple dead people.

In the real estate market, cautious buyers are looking at numerous homes and assembling all of their favorite features of each home.

This home that they seek, a mythical house, pieced together by all the favorite parts of houses that they’ve viewed, has them hoping the perfect house is out there.

Reader Poll – Should We Use This Rider On Real Estate Signs?

We had my parents over for dinner last night and of all things, the conversation came around to the topic of real estate signs.

My mother commented that friends of hers had noticed two of our real estate signs in her neighborhood, and she was curious if they were under contract. In fact, she assumed they were not because there were no “pending” riders on top of the real estate signs.

Her assumption is the very reason that we do not put pending riders on our real estate signs, but I’m willing to conduct a reader poll (below) to see what you think about my rationale.

Erase The Fear With The Right Custom Home Design Build Company

In our ongoing effort to bring more information to people interested in building a home, today we explore the concept of custom home design build.

The traditional approach to building a home consists of the selection of a designer to create the plan for the home, and then the selection of a contractor to actually carry out the construction project. Often times people have a set of plans that they like, and then they start the search for the contractor for the home building process.

The custom home design build process merges those two responsibilities into one professional. The builder coordinates both the design and the build. The relationship between the customer and the builder is more in line with the “master builder” approach, and proponents say it creates a stronger builder-customer relationship.

Selling A Home? Take 3 Lessons From The Yoshi Blade

If you are thinking about selling a home, you might want to take a lesson from the makers of the Yoshi Blade.

For those few readers who were never touched by the Yoshi Blade marketing steam roller, it is a simple, cheap ceramic knife that was mass-marketed through all the prime internet based channels.

Most people were drawn, at one point or another, to check out the video of this miraculous cutting utensil.

One Final Question To Ask A Listing Agent Before Making A Hiring Decision

There is a critical factor that should weigh heavily on your choice of a listing agent when you sell your home, and I bet it would never even cross your mind (unless you read this of course :) ).

I have written numerous articles about what to do when you need to sell your home, and many focused on how to locate a real estate listing agent for the job of selling your home.

We have addressed the importance of internet marketing when you sell your home, and focusing on hiring a company instead of just settling for an agent. But there is one final point, one critical issue that will ensure you hire the best listing agent for the job of selling your home.

Values Rise Faster For Tallahassee House With A Pool

I have always loved owning a house with a pool, it just seems to be the crowning jewel for a family home.

There’s something to be said about coming home on a hot steamy day and jumping in the pool for a chance to cool off.

I know that it is a bias that I have that is not shared by all others, but there is evidence that owning a Tallahassee house with a pool is a smart investment as well.
